As a borough, Havering recognises that, as the cost of living continues to rise across the country, many of our residents are going to be feeling the pinch this winter.
The Council’s new cost of living online hub brings together all of the support available to residents – from financial help with food and energy bills to free school holiday meals and mental health.
The website contains links to the Havering Helps assistance scheme, details of warm spaces, council tax support, debt management services, energy grants, food banks and community hubs, as well as online benefits calculators so residents can be sure they’re receiving all the support they are entitled to.
The Council will also publish details of any new support schemes, both local and national, in the Living in Havering email bulletin.
We have also attached a range of social media links to help. Please feel free to share this with friends and family as you feel appropriate.
On behalf of Havering Adult College, thank you for choosing us and we all wish you a safe and peaceful festive season.
